Another top matchup in men's college water polo will happen today featuring the No. 1 team in the nation UCLA hosting the No. 4 team in the nation USC. The Bruins enter this week on top of the men's water polo polls with 100 points. That is five points higher than Cal, the No. 2 team, and 10 ahead of Stanford. On the other side, the Trojans come in at No. 4 on the leaderboard with a total of 86 points. They dropped from No. 3 last week with Stanford rising above them. They are seven points above Pepperdine and four points behind Stanford. They will look to gain back the points they lost and rise back to a top-three team in the nation and nothing says that like knocking off the No. 1 team.

USC has lost two games in a row, including an overtime loss 14-13 to Stanford and last week to Cal. UCLA hasn't lost this season and brings the momentum of a 14-11 win over No. 2 Cal and an 11-7 win over No. 5 Stanford in its last two games.

These two teams have played once this season already and UCLA came out on top 14-10 in the game. Massimo Di Martire scored three times in the win. Despite the loss, USC's Rafael Real Vergara scored seven of the team's 10 goals in the game.
